Convenient location. Situated within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and a gas station. Within 1/2 a mile of groceries stores, cafes and restaurants. The place is well kept, the staff is friendly and helpful. I came in to visit family but it was also a hot day in July so the kids wanted to use the pool, so we asked some family members to join us for a little bit, who wanted to see the kids swim. We felt welcomed and respected. The staff is also knowledgeable about the area.

Walking distance to Eel River and a brewery/restaurant. Breakfast was a tad better than most hotels. Friendly staff

The location was very good -- at least from the 3rd floor where we requested to be. The view from our window looked out upon the Eel River and park pathway alongside it.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was quiet, and we slept well. We enjoyed the hot tub and having a brewery across the parking lot. Across the street is a great walk along the river. The location is not on the ocean but is a short drive to ocean beaches. It was great to have a TV Netflix ready.

The property was in a good location, close to shopping center and restaurants. The maintenance staff fixed an issue in our room quickly. The breakfast was good.

Fortuna was a good place to stop because lodging prices were much cheaper than Ferndale, where we were ultimately headed to take a road along the Lost Coast. I had the powdered eggs at the breakfast buffet. Would have much preferred real eggs. I could have made a waffle, but wanted to cut down on the calories a little bit:)

Rooms were very well put together. I showed up late around 8 o’clock and the lady at the front desk was very helpful.

Breakfast was fine. A continental breakfast but with scrambled powdered eggs and sausage. Waffle maker as well.
